Arriell Drayton, Multimedia Journalist
Arriell Drayton stands as a proud alumnus of the best HBCU in the land, Florida A&M University.
Her Rattler pride is so contagious that she literally bleeds her citrus orange and agricultural green (GOOOO RATTLERS!).
During spring of 2023, she graduated from FAMU where she received her master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.
While in college, she served as a Multimedia Journalist and live shot reporter for her school’s award-winning news station, FAMU20.
Being dedicated in and outside of the newsroom, during her time in college she also became an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
In addition, she also served a two-term internship in college with WJXT Channel 4, giving her the opportunity to tell stories in her very own community where she grew up before graduating.
She prides herself in her most memorable weather coverage and cold case stories.
