Mike Braun’s inauguration Monday makes him 52nd Governor of Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS -- Monday marks a historic day for the Hoosier state as Mike Braun is set to be sworn in as the 52nd Governor of Indiana in Indianapolis.

Over the weekend there was a series of productive activities and gatherings for his supporters to join together and welcome him in as the new governor and the start of a new chapter for the state.

The weekend activities included a gala on Saturday evening followed by Mass on Sunday morning.

Braun’s inauguration starts at 11 a.m. at the Hilbert Circle Theatre where there are plans for over 1600 attendees.

Micah Beckwith will join Braun to address vital issues such as creating high wage careers and improving the cost of living and maternal health.

As Braun takes office his vision for his administration is to focus on providing access to technology that's essential to healthcare, education, and business to underserved areas that lack resources.

In addition, the Braun administration has plans to prioritize mental health by ensuring all residents have access to the resources needed to thrive in society.

This is followed by tackling Indiana’s troubling infant mortality rates by improving access to healthcare for mothers and children.

The most demanding focus will create high wage career opportunities to make Indiana a stronger destination for business and talent.

Beckwith will join Braun as his Lieutenant Governor in efforts to help tackle and address some of the state’s most pressing issues head-on.
