LeVon Whittaker, Multimedia Journalist

LeVon Whittaker joined the ABC57 news team in April 2021 as a multimedia journalist.
LeVon is originally from Northwest Indiana and visited Michiana frequently growing up to visit family.
He earned his bachelors degree from Indiana State University in 2016, where he was a double major in Communication Broadcasting and Information Technology.
After starting his career as a information technology professional, in 2019 he completed his graduate degree in Information Communication Technology with a concentration in Telecommunication at the University of Denver.
This is LeVon’s first news station as he worked in various roles as an information technology professional for five years, while covering local Indianapolis high school sports as an independent reporter on his own time.
In his down time he enjoys playing with his dog, working out, spending time with friends and family, cooking new meals, and watching tv shows, movies, and sports.
