ATLANTA, Ga. -- Mike Brey, a former Notre Dame men's basketball coach who is now an assistant coach with the Atlanta Hawks, discussed his experience returning to the Notre Dame community and his thoughts on the current Notre Dame football team.
Brey was excited about being back in Atlanta additionally for seeing familiar faces from the Notre Dame Alumni Club.
Brey praised Notre Dame's current basketball coach, Micah Shrewsbury, and highlighted the team's progress under his leadership. He also spoke highly of Marcus Burton, the team's point guard, and predicted a successful season for the team.
Brey shared his admiration for Marcus Freeman. He praised Freeman's leadership qualities and his ability to connect with young players. Brey predicted a 20-point victory for Notre Dame in their upcoming game.
Brey concluded the interview by expressing his enthusiasm for being in Atlanta and supporting the Notre Dame football team. He encouraged fans to attend the game and cheer on the Fighting Irish.
