Notre Dame Men's Basketball is tipping off their season this Wednesday night

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Notre Dame Men's Basketball season is tipping off and second year Head Coach Micah Shrewsberry is excited to start the season Wednesday night.

With the season officially starting Wednesday evening, Shrewsberry has already enjoyed watching other teams take the court as he prepares for year two.

"It's that time of year, and it's in the air, and the excitements here. I'm just so looking forward to getting started, like we've had two really good showings in our exhibition and our secret scrimmage. I think our guys are feeling good about where we're at currently, right with still a chance to keep growing and getting better, which is what we want to do throughout the whole year, is keep growing,"

The team recently played and won its exhibition game 91-54 against Purdue Fort Wayne.

"I like how we were ready to go to start both halves, right? I think that was a little bit of an issue for us before, of not being ready to go, especially start the second half at different times, different lulls, like those guys came out of the gates, competing on both ends. I was really happy and pleased with that," stated Shrewsberry.
