Ben Schicker, Multimedia Journalist
Ben Schicker joined the ABC57 News team in July 2026 as a multimedia journalist.
Ben was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University, where he majored in Multimedia Journalism with a minor in writing. During his collegiate years, he interned at Mississippi River Radio and worked as a reporter for the "Arrow," a student-ran publication.
Ben came from a CBS affiliate in Idaho where he covered stories ranging from collegiate athletics, fish and game features, local elections, and human-interest stories.
Outside of work, Ben loves playing golf, video games, watching the Cardinals beat the Cubs, and is currently trying to make it to all 30 MLB ballparks.
Ben is excited to be back in the Midwest and is looking forward to meeting new faces throughout Michiana.
