ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Thursday, February 6, 2025
The rest of the day will remain dry under mostly cloudy skies. Tonight, temperatures will drop into the 20s as cloud cover increases ahead of tomorrow's winter weather. Mixed precipitation is expected to move into Michiana by late morning through the afternoon, transitioning to system snow as temperatures cool in the evening. This system will also trigger lake-effect snow, supported by favorable northwesterly winds. While a light glaze on roadways is possible, we anticipate more snow than freezing rain. With the system moving quickly, snow totals will remain low—around an inch or less. The wintry mix will taper off by Sunday morning, giving way to more seasonable conditions to start the week. However, snow chances return by midweek.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 22.
Saturday: Wintry mix, then snow. High 33.
Sunday: Overcast. High 28.
Monday: Mostly sunny. High 32.
