First Presbyterian Church holds a Pysanky in Elkhart
DOWAGIAC, Mich. -- The Dowagiac Police Department reports officers responded to the area of E. Wayne Street near Mcomber Street around 9:03 p.m. on March 15 regarding shots fired.
Officers on scene located three shell casings along E. Wayne Street.
Police spoke to residents in the area who heard the shots, however none reported seeing anything specific to a suspect.
Authorities reviewed video footage from nearby residences and noted a dark colored sedan, possibly a Ford Taurus, driving through the area while the shots can be heard.
Officers searched the area for a vehicle matching this description, however, they found no such vehicle.
Police say at this time there's been no reported damage to residences, vehicles, or any other property, and no reported injuries.
