UPDATE: Section of Lincolnway reopened following ISP drug investigation, suspect found dead

UPDATE 6:53 P.M. -- ISP has confirmed to ABC57 that the suspect found deceased inside the home has been identified as 35-year-old Justin Hufkens.

An autopsy is pending. 

UPDATE 4:46 P.M.: ISP confirmed to ABC57 that the suspect in this case was found deceased inside a home.

UPDATE 3:44 P.M.: ABC57 crews on scene say traffic has reopened on Lincolnway East.

UPDATE: The South Bend Police Department is asking motorists to avoid the area of Lincolnway East and Eldora Court in South Bend.

ISP will release additional details as they become available.

ORIGINAL STORY: SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police reports a section of Lincolnway between Twyckenham and Titan Drive near IUSB has been shut down while a warrant is being served regarding a drug investigation.

South Bend police are assisting but this is an ISP investigation.
