Free diaper distribution for Southwest Michigan families in need

HARTFORD, Mich. -- Priority Health announced an event to distribute diapers for free to families in need in Southwest Michigan.

The event is happening on Wednesday, June 19, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Corewell Health Primary Care located at 525 South Center St. in Hartford, Mich.

Organizers say families with infants and toddlers are encouraged to come early for walk-in distribution of diapers and supplies.

The distribution is possible through Priority Health's partnership with United through Motherhood and Corewell Health.

Besides free diapers, wipes and creams will be available to families to ease the high cost of keeping infants and toddlers clean and dry.

According to United through Motherhood the cost per month is $80 to $100 per baby for diapers and supplies.
