ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A Ford F-250 drove off the road twice then flipped several times after multiple overcorrections on Toledo Road, east of Meadowood Drive.
A 33-year-old male was driving westbound at a high rate of speed before driving off the north side of the roadway, driving back onto the roadway and overcorrecting, then off the road again around 8:30 p.m. on July 11.
The vehicle was reported to flip several times before it came to a full stop.
The vehicle did not have any passengers other than the driver.
The driver was transported to Elkhart General Hospital due to neck and shoulder pain, but the injuries are not life threatening.
Alcohol and drugs do appear to be a factor in the collision and the toxicology reports are pending.
