Lake effect snow continues to taper off, leaving behind light, scattered snow showers and flurries this evening. Travel impacts are minimal for the evening commute as roads have been cleared and salted. Counties in southwest Michigan will experience higher snow totals compared to areas south of US 30. Temperatures tonight will drop into the teens as skies clear overnight. Thursday will bring quieter and sunnier conditions, with temperatures reaching the upper 20s. The next chance for snow returns on Friday, during the day, as a system develops and moves northeastward. Snow chances persist into next week.
Tonight: Light scattered snow showers. Low 16.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 26.
Friday: Snow showers. High 28.
Saturday: Mostly Cloudy. High 25.
