ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A costume designer with South Bend roots is taking her talent on the road, lending her artistry to a run of “Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress” in Minneapolis this fall.
Artist Sully Ratke was a student at the University of Notre Dame who found her niche in costume design when a mix of her interests collided. Now, she’s a celebrated designer whose art has appeared in stage productions across the Midwest.
Ratke joined ABC57’s Summer Horan to talk more about how she got into the career and her latest production just ahead of opening night.
Check out more of Ratke’s work on her website.
