STARKE COUNTY, Ind. -- The Starke County Sheriff's Office announced it will hold a "Coffee with a Cop" event on Jan. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rabbit Roasting Coffee Co. on Knox.

In attendance will be Starke County Sheriff Jack Rosa, Prosecutor Leslie Baker, plus other staff members and deputies.

Authorities encourage the public to attend and take this opportunity to ask questions and understand their roles and responsibilities better.

Rabbit Roasting Coffee Co. is located at 10 S. Main St. in Knox.

Organizers say this partnership between law enforcement and the Starke County Prosecutor's Office is part of their commitment to creating a safer and just community.
