Spree of Cass County Drug Enforcement Team meth busts net four arrests

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Tuesday, Feb. 4, was a big day for the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team as they arrested four men at three different locations for possession and distribution of methamphetamine.

Detectives responded to a residence in the 300 block of Louise Ave., in Dowagiac, where they found meth and methamphetamine paraphernalia. A 43-year-old male was arrested at the residence for possession.

Detectives also responded to a residence in the 26000 block of Gage St., in Wayne Township, on Tuesday where they also found meth, meth paraphernalia, and evidence of meth distribution.

A different 43-year-old male was arrested at that residence for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. 

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team also arrested two men while carrying out a search warrant in the 25000 block of Harris Street, in Jefferson Township on Tuesday.

All four of the suspect’s names are being withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court and the investigations are still ongoing.
