Two arrested in drug bust in Cass County

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - - The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team arrested two men while carrying out a search warrant in the 25000 block of Harris St., in Jefferson Township on Tuesday February 4.
Upon arrival detectives found methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, evidence of methamphetamine distribution, and a firearm.
According to the report, two men, a 38-year-old and 54-year-old male were taken into custody on scene. The 38-year-old male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and parole violation while the 54-year-old male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, felony firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm.
The suspects names are being withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court and the investigation is still ongoing.
