Motorcyclist arrested for OWI, Resisting Law Enforcement following crash

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports deputies along with officers from the Bourbon Police Department responded to the area of 2805 17B Trail in Tippecanoe after a witness reported a man crashing his motorcycle before cleaning up debris and fleeing the scene on foot.
Authorities say the motorcyclist was identified as 36-year-old Clint R. Woodward of Tippecanoe.
Woodward was found to be the registered owner of the motorcycle.
Deputies utilized K9 Bear to locate Woodward, who was found hiding in a field around S.R. 331 and 18th Road.
During the investigation, deputies said it was found that Woodward had consumed alcohol prior to the crash.
Woodward was taken to hospital for a certified chemical test and medical treatment for minor injuries.
He was then taken to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated - Prior, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
