House struck by gunfire Friday morning, police investigating

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Police Department reports officers responded to a shots fired call around 3:37 a.m. Friday at the intersection of East Grove and Locust Streets.

Officers arrived to find shell casings in the street in front of 615 Locust St.

It was discovered the home had been struck several times.

Police say there were no injuries.

As of 8 a.m., police were still processing and treating the area as an active crime scene.
