'Historical Walking Tour: Back to the 50s' in Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Morton House Museum in Benton Harbor is hosting a historical walking tour themed as "Back to the 50s" on Thursday, July 11, at 5:30 p.m.

Organizers say the walk will bring you back to the world of Sears, Penney's, Woolworth's, the Flats, drive-ins, root beer stands, four movie theaters, Kresge's 5 & 10 Cent Store, Candyland, Holly's Restaurant, roller rinks, and more.

The cost is $10 per person. You can buy your tickets here.

Organizers say the tour will last about an hour, and the walk will cover about one mile.

The tour starts at the Benton Harbor Visitor Center, at the corner of 5th and Territorial Roads.
