Rain Tuesday, especially the afternoon
Two residents were rescued from a house that caught fire Friday afternoon. Firefighters responded to a home in the 200 block of Peony Street just before 1 p.m.
The first responders on the scene rescued two residents from the house.
The back of the house, a garage and a shed suffered damage in the fire.
A dog escaped from the fire but suffered burns and smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
