Charges still not filed against juvenile arrested for Christmas shooting

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A Juvenile was arrested this past Saturday for a shooting which seriously injured a 15-year-old girl on Christmas Day.

The minor has still not been charged by the prosecutor's office for the crime.

The shooting took place just before midnight in the 300 block of East Donald Street.

According to the St. Joseph County Prosecutors office he is being detained at the Juvenile Justice Center pending a case review.

We still do not know if he will be charged as an adult or as a juvenile.
