UPDATE: New documents from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security detail the violations found by state inspectors. ABC57 obtained the Emergency Order issued Tuesday by an inspector for the State Fire Marshal's office, ordering all individuals to leave the property and immediately shut down. Code violations involve equipment maintenance, testing, and record-keeping.
Specifics include failing to maintain fire extinguishers for annual inspection and not providing documentation of annual fire alarm and sprinkler testing.
The Emergency Order only applies to the restaurant barn at Amish Acres, where some weddings were planned. It does not impact the Round Barn Theatre, which is considered an unoccupied building at this time, and would need a renewed permit to reopen.

ORIGINAL STORY: NAPPANEE, Ind. -- A local tourist stop that aimed at reopening is shuttered.
The Nappanee Fire Department confirmed to ABC57 that on August 11, the Indiana State Fire Marshal's office closed Amish Acres for the time being.
The owner of Amish Acres declined to comment Tuesday.
