LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- A 77-year-old Warsaw woman is dead following a head-on crash Saturday afternoon on Fail Road in La Porte County.

The La Porte County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to the 2900 north block of Fail Road around 12:15 p.m. for the crash.

Deputies on scene determined a 2014 Toyota, driven by 38-year-old Aaron D. Keehn of La Porte, was traveling north on Fail Road.

At the same time, a silver 2024 Kia, driven by 71-year-old John W. Pratt of Warsaw, was traveling south on Fail Road.

Deputies say Keehn then drove left of center, colliding with Pratt head-on.

The report states Pratt was injured and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Pratt's passenger, Lana L. Pratt, was also injured in the crash. She was also taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Keehn's upper body was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Toxicology test results are pending.

The investigation is ongoing.
