Sip and Savor Elkhart County starts this weekend

Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau announced Sip and Savor Elkhart County, a two-week period dedicated to special offers, discounts, and limited time menu items at local restaurants, will begin on Friday.

Officials invite foodies from all over northern Indiana to the best of the county's fine dining, craft breweries, bistros, cafes and more.

“Elkhart County is blessed with incredible culinary talent and dining experiences that satisfies every tastebud. Sip & Savor Elkhart County is a celebration of the greatness of the food scene here. Whether you’re hungry for fried chicken, a great sandwich, pasta, creamy dessert or a cold beer, you can find it here,” said Jon Hunsberger, executive director of the Elkhart County CVB.

Organizers list 19 participating eateries from Elkhart, Goshen, Middlebury, Bristol, Wakarusa, and in between.

The website also lists special offers which range from prix fixe menus, in which a single diner can choose an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for one price, to menus designed for couples and groups of four, to single items or a tasting menu.

The final day of Sip and Savor will be March 9, and you can learn even more about it here.

If your restaurant, coffee shop, candy store, or other eatery would like to participate, you may join by signing up here.

“We appreciate the fantastic support that the Elkhart County CVB offers to all restaurants and food businesses in our area. Winter is a slower time of year for many of us, and it’s always welcome to have a fun way to encourage people to go out and support local businesses,” said Jesse Sensenig of Goshen Brewing Company.
