Two-Vehicle crash after failing to yield

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reports a two-vehicle crash occurred around 4:26 p.m. on March 6, when a vehicle failed to yield to the right of way.

Officers say that a 2005 Dodge Ram was traveling West on SR 120 and was turning South onto CR 19 and failed to yield to the right of way colliding with a 2023 GMC Acadia that was traveling East on SR 120. The Acadia was then pushed off the south side of the roadway colliding with a sign before coming to a rest.

Both drivers were transported to Elkhart General Hospital with a report for chest pain, all injuries are non-life threatening.
