BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The trial dates for Rigoberto Gomez on Open Murder charges in relation to the murder of Eau Claire firefighter and military veteran Chad Medlin has been rescheduled for Nov.12-14 and Nov.18-21, the court confirmed on Friday.
One of the reasons given for the delay is the prosecutor's office still waiting to get reports back from the Michigan State Police lab.
