Michiana's lined up for another day of warm temperatures near 80 degrees and plenty of sunshine overhead. Tonight, lows bottom out in the mid 50s amidst mostly clear conditions and calm winds at the surface. Wednesday starts quietly with temperatures gradually rising to meet the upper 70s, but a cold front arrives in the second half of the day that brings rain to some areas as soon as the late afternoon. Cold and soaking rain, as well as a few thunderstorms, are expected all of Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. Winds will shift and originate from a northwesterly orientation, churning up wave heights to dangerous values. Thursday afternoon and evening are uneventful but much cooler in the mid 60s. A few more showers are possible along another weak cold front on Friday.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 80.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 56.
Wednesday: PM showers. High 78.
Thursday: AM showers. High 64.
