South Bend Fire Department invites community to grand re-opening of Fire Station No.8

South Bend Fire Department SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Fire Department invites community members to celebrate the grand re-opening of Fire Station No. 8 on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
Fire officials say this moment has been long anticipated.
There will be a dedication ceremony followed by a fire department open house with tours of the new firehouse, activities for the family, and crews spraying some water.
There will also be discussions about fire prevention.
The station is located at 2402 S. Twyckenham.
