Registration still open for 'Bowling 4 The Beacon' fundraiser Saturday
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Beacon announced it will host the fundraiser, "Bowling 4 the Beacon," on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. to support the non-profit's many programs which benefit South Bend's west side.
Organizers invite community members to an evening of strikes, spares, and community impact at Chippewa Bowl.
Registration is currently open for various categories of participants.
An individual bowler is $99, while a team of bowlers up to six is $499, and 10 lanes will be available for bowling families, one to two adults with up to four kids, for $99.
You can select your option and register here.
Registration includes up to three games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza, non-alcoholic beverages, desserts, and a gift bag for each bowler.
For over 15 years, Beacon officials say The Beacon Resource Center's programs have made a tangible impact, including the Police Athletic League Boxing Mentoring Program, support for the formerly incarcerated, summer educational programs, and community partnerships, like collaborating with organizations like the South Bend Roller Derby to cultivate a sense of belonging and unity.
