Rear-end crash in Elkhart on State Road 19

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department released a report on a two-vehicle crash at 2:16 p.m. on Saturday.
A 2013 Kia Soul was traveling south on S.R. 19 at the intersection of C.R. 32. A 2017 Nissan Maxima was traveling south on S.R. 19 at the same intersection, before stopping to turn left, east onto C.R. 32.
The Kia's front end struck the rear end of the stationary Nissan.
The driver of the Nissan was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the Kia was cited for following too closely.
