ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- With National Preservation Week running from April 28 to May 4, the Elkhart County Historical Museum will be partnering with all the public libraries in Elkhart County to offer “Ask a Curator" events where guests can ask the museum's Curator of Collections Michelle Nash any question they'd like on the topic of preservation.

“I think National Preservation Week is a great time to think about things you might have inherited or want to see passed down and we hope to provide tools and resources to help folks do that,” said Nash. “We also find that there is often just curiosity about what museum and archives professionals do. I’m happy to chat about that as well!”

“We represent and serve the whole of Elkhart County but since we are located in Bristol, it can be a challenge for some folks to get to us. We are so excited to be able to get outside our walls and meet people closer to home. It’s awesome that every single public library in the county was happy to host us. I hope to see a lot of folks come to have a chat with me over the course of the week!”
