Police search for armed robbery suspect in Benton Harbor Thursday

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Benton Charter Township Police Department reports it's currently searching for a suspect following an armed robbery at the Dollar General at 1393 S. M139, Thursday at 8:44 a.m.
The report states officers responded to Dollar General regarding an armed robbery.
Police say a man wearing all black with a ski mask and handgun entered the store at 8:44 a.m. and held the cashier at gunpoint.
The man then took the money from the safe and the cashier before exiting the store and heading east toward Reeder.
