Police release sketch of suspect in assault at Grand Mere State Park

Lincoln Charter Township Police have released a sketch of the person suspect of assaulting a woman at Grand Mere State Park on September 20.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 6-feet tall, with dark hair and an athletic build. He may be driving a silver or gray SUV.

Police have been following up on multiple tips about the assaults on April 1 and September 20 at the park.

Evidence from both cases have been submitted to the Michigan State Police crime lab.

Police have increased patrols at the park as shifts, call volumes and resources allow since the April assault.
