Motorcycle hit at the intersection of S.R. 120 and River Launch Court

ABC 57

ELKHART County, Ind. -- A motorcyclist was left with a cut on their head after a car pulled out in front of them on S.R. 120 on Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say the call came in around 2:36 p.m. for reports of a crash between a 2014 Ford Focus and a 2024 Indian Scout.

The crash reports states that 86-year-old Edna Slack, of Bristol, was driving the Ford out of a private drive and attempting to cross S.R. 120 to enter River Launch Court.

"[Slack] stated they looked both ways and thought it was clear," the report states.

The motorcycle was being driven west on S.R. 120 when Slack pulled out and, according to police, caused the crash.

The driver of the motorcycle sustained a laceration on the head and Slack was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way -- Causing Bodily Injury.
