Police host 'Bike Rodeo' at Nappanee Elementary School, free bike helmets for kids

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - The Nappanee and Wakarusa Police Departments are hosting a "Bike Rodeo" on June 1, in the south parking lot at Nappanee Elementary School.

The police are teaming up with the Nappanee and Wakarusa Pedal Party to hold this event for kids in grades K through five.

Organizers say there will be door prizes, food, and fun. They add that every child in attendance will receive a free bike helmet, and 24 bikes will be given away.

You can register for the event at 9 a.m. and the rodeo starts at 10 a.m.
