Community says farewell to Jaworski’s Market
SAINT JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. -- A pickup truck rearends a school bus with kids on board in Saint Joseph County Michigan.
The crash happened in Fawn River Township just outside of Sturgis.
Superintendent Art Ebert states that 14 middle and high school students were on the bus, heading home after a day at school.
"I'm just glad that everyone's safe. And you can see that the bus comes up a bit when it's when it's hit. So I'm glad everyone's safe," stated Sturgis Public Schools Superintendent Art Ebert.
The school superintendent and Sturgis public safety director say that the investigation is being handled by Michigan State Police, with no word on any tickets being issued just yet.
