On and off snow showers until Tuesday

NOW: On and off snow showers until Tuesday

ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather ForecastSunday, March 12, 2023

We have officially "sprung forward" this morning, but spring hasn't come with us. Instead, light snow has fallen overnight. Similar to the past few rounds of snow, roads are wet and a bit slushy in spots, but travel has not been heavily impacted by the winter weather. A few extra minutes should be all you need to navigate the roadways this morning. Snow will wrap up by lunchtime, with a few light rain/snow showers possible Sunday afternoon and evening. Highs will reach the upper 30s under cloudy skies. A few more snow showers are possible overnight into Monday morning. Lake-effect snow showers could be persistent throughout Monday, but also don't look like a major deal at this point. Some minor accumulations (less than an inch) are possible on Monday into Tuesday morning. The snow takes a break on Tuesday, but high temperatures struggle to get above freezing under mostly cloudy skies. A brief stretch of milder air begins on Wednesday, with sunshine and highs in the 40s. We'll be near 50 with rain showers returning by the afternoon. The heaviest rain will fall on Saint Patrick's Day morning, so it looks like the RADAR will be wearing green to celebrate the holiday on Friday.

Today (Sunday): AM snow showers, then light rain/snow showers in the afternoon. High 38.

Tonight: Rain/snow showers early, then turning to light snow showers overnight. Low 29.

Tomorrow: Cloudy, chilly and a little breezy with light snow showers. High 35.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy and cold. High 33.
