ELKHART, Ind. -- Congressman Rudy Yakym made a stop at the Forest River plant in Elkhart to get an update on local manufacturing.
During Yakym's tour across Indiana's second district, he gets the chance to speak with Hoosiers and today he spoke on the economy, "you look at if you're in manufacturing or in construction, the average real wage over the course of the last 18 months is up about $4,000 per family."
Yakym continues to say, ""When you look at overall in the American economy and the average working family on a real wage perspective-that's wages adjusted for inflation has about an extra $1,000 in their pockets since President Trump took office."
