More than 8,000 residents remain without power after Tuesday's storms

ABC 57 INDIANA. -- According to Indiana Michigan Power, 8,700 residents remain without power due to the storms.
With more than 1,000 workers currently repairing the damage customers in the Muncie, Fort Wayne, and Michigan regions will be restored by 11 p.m.
In the South Bend area, it'll be restored by 2 a.m., Wednesday.
All other customers will be restored by 6 p.m. Wednesday.
It's emphasized to stay away from downed wires and to not attempt to clear damage yourself.
