Nappanee Parks and Rec. hold Heatwave Hunt Photo Challenge

Nappanee Parks and Recreation

NAPPANEE, Ind. -- Nappanee Parks and Recreation announced they're bringing a splash of summer to winter with their Heatwave Hunt Photo Challenge happening from now until March 2.

Organizers say each week for six weeks they will post a photo of a summer icon at a park.

Participants in the challenge will then have to figure out which park the icon is in and take a photo in the same spot with the background to match the original photo.

You will then submit your six photos to the supplied Google form by March 2.

Organizers say you’ll then be entered into a prize drawing for a $50 Nappanee Chamber Gift Certificate, which is redeemable at participating merchants.

You can follow the Nappanee Parks and Recreation Facebook page for the weekly icon.

The first week's icon has already been posted.
