The warm-up through the week continues with highs in the mid 60s this afternoon amidst mostly cloudy skies. After a dip near 50 degrees tonight, temperatures surge to the low 70s tomorrow ahead of a sweeping cold front that will bring widespread showers and thunderstorms for most of Thursday afternoon, evening, and overnight. There is a low risk for severe weather at this time but ALL threats are on the table from 4 PM EDT to 11 PM EDT Thursday, even an isolated tornado is possible. The front and the associated cold and soaking rain will drop our highs into the low 40s on Friday with much quieter and cooler weather in store this weekend.
Today: Mostly cloudy. High 66.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 50.
Thursday: PM thunderstorms and rain. High 74.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 44.
