Mild week start, storms Tuesday

Showers should linger this morning though they should mostly be cleared out by noon. Partly cloudy skies return to the area, and a pop-up shower can't be ruled out this afternoon. Highs stay very close to average this time of year, potentially staying in the high 70s all day. Skies continue to clear into tomorrow, and the 80's return for most of the region.

Thunderstorms are expected on Tuesday, with chances peaking in the morning and late evening hours. Muggy conditions that day as well, with the expected high returning to the 90s. Widespread showers start to form overnight going into Wednesday, with the remnants sticking around Wednesday morning. A very mild end to the week with another warm up expected going into the weekend, storm chances as well.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 60.
Monday: Mostly sunny and warm. High 85.
