Riley High School students safe after gun found in backpack
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The video game, EA Sports College Football 25, is back for the first time in 11 years and features all 134 teams in the Football Bowl Series.
The game takes you inside college football with the sights and sounds along with the traditions and pageantry.
The game is nostalgic for Notre Dame Head Coach Marcus Freeman.
Freeman said, "That was part of growing up and a part of college life, especially when you play college football and a chance to play with yourself."
Freeman often played with his Ohio State teammate James Lauranitis back in college.
In the new game you can even create real matchups like Notre Dame vs. IU in first round of the college football playoff with real players like Irish quarterback Riley Leonard.
Freeman told the Kickoff crew this summer he had about 15 to 20 players come over to his house to play the game with two consoles going at the same time. He said the competition got pretty intense.
ABC57 Kickoff's LeVon Whittaker says he's had plenty of reps in this game but he's not great, so of course, he challenged former Notre Dame safety Shaun Crawford to a match.
Crawford agreed, only if he could be the Irish, so LeVon took the Hoosiers.
And things didn't go exactly how LeVon hoped.
