Two-vehicle crash in Cass County leaves three injured

CASS COUNTY, MICH - - At approximately 5:44 p.m. Friday afternoon, Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash, at the intersection of M 40 and Shavehead Lake St. in Porter Township.
Upon arrival, officers found that vehicle one, driven by a 39-year-old Constantine man was heading Northbound on M 40 when his vehicle was struck by 22-year-old Thomas Yoder who was driving eastbound on Shavehead Lake St. and failed to yield to oncoming traffic. Vehicle one was forced off the road and into a nearby field.
EMS were called and transported both the driver and the two passengers of vehicle one to Bronson Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Neither alcohol or drugs appear to be a factor in this crash.
