Memorial Escort and gathering scheduled for paramedic killed in ambulance crash

The Starke County community has been mourning the loss of a paramedic who was killed in an ambulance crash on Saturday, Aug. 5

Michael Wilcox died when a vehicle crashed into the ambulance during an emergency run Saturday afternoon.

Another paramedic in the ambulance, Brandy Salita, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital, 

She is still receiving treatment for her injuries.

Now, a special Memorial Escort and gathering of friends and family of Wilcox has been scheduled for Aug. 19
