Kids invited to explore Mishawaka's history through storytelling

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Parks and Rec Department, in collaboration with the Mishawaka History Museum, will host a history program called Time Travel Adventure: Exploring Mishawaka's History Through Storytelling.

The walking tour is aimed at young history buffs, ages six to 12, and their accompanying adults.

The free program will take place on Tuesday, July 9, from noon to 2 p.m.

Starting at the Mishawaka Historical Museum, participants will go on a guided tour of exhibits.

Organizers say you'll then hit the streets for a fun-filled walking tour through historic downtown Mishawaka on North Main Street and Beutter Park.

The Mishawaka Historical Museum is located at 121 S. Main St. in Mishawaka.
