NOW: Missing Logansport teen located Wednesday morning, parents arrested

LOGANSPORT, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police reports at around 6 a.m., Wednesday, members of the Indiana State Police SWAT team executed a search warrant and arrest warrants, both issued by the Cass County Circuit Court, on Daniel and Kristin Muir's residence, at 1740 W. U.S. Highway 24 in Logansport.

Police say the search led to the discovery of Daniel, Kristin, and Bryson Muir at the home.

Daniel and Kristen were taken into custody without incident and brought to the Cass County Jail.

Bryson, who appeared safe and well, was released to the care and custody of the Cass County Department of Child Services.

Daniel is charged with one count of Obstruction of Justice, a level six felony, and one count of Domestic Battery, a class A misdemeanor.

Kristin is charged with one count of Obstruction of Justice, a level six felony.

Authorities say this remains an active criminal investigation, and as such, there is no further information to be released at this time.
