ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Students from Concord, Northridge, Elkhart, and Goshen high schools launched a countywide food and fundraising competition to support local food pantries and raise awareness about food insecurity.

The student-led initiative invites community members to give food or money.

Each school has a local pantry partner to accept in-person donations at designated on-campus locations.

You can also donate monetarily online.

The drive ends Friday with totals tracked to determine an overall winner.

Organizers say they hope the drive becomes annual tradition that engages students in hands-on community impact and supports local pantries.
