A few flurries or snow showers are possible late this afternoon across Michiana. Otherwise, we'll start to see freezing rain or drizzle this evening. It might take until closer to 9 or 10 PM for the ice to make it to South Bend. The most widespread freezing rain will likely occur just after midnight. As a result, the commute that will be the most impacted will be the Thursday morning commute. Roads may be icy and slick to start out the day tomorrow, so use lots of caution if you have to be on the roads early. Temperatures should make it above freezing by lunch, and the ice should melt into the afternoon. Friday should be uneventful, but then another wintry mix of rain, snow and freezing rain will move through on Saturday. Temperatures turn colder Sunday with some lake effect snow showers possible.
Tonight: Freezing rain late. Icy roads possible early Thursday morning. Low 27.
Tomorrow: Wintry mix early, then milder and breezy. High 38.
Friday: Partly cloudy and colder. High 30.
Saturday. Wintry mix likely. High 32.
