Former Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard to speak in Goshen on September 19

Mayor Brainard with community leaders from Elkhart County in Carmel ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The former Mayor of Carmel Jim Brainard will speak on September 19 at Ignition Park in downtown Goshen.
The talk is from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and it will be a part of the Building Blocks Talks speaker series.
He served as Mayor of Carmel from 1996 until 2024.
Mayor Brainard will offer insights into placemaking, planning, and urban design.
He will also speak about his own personal experience transforming Carmel into America's best suburb, according to a 2024 Niche.com ranking.
